Focus

IEEE EDUCON 2021 will be organized by the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna, Austria. In case of a hybrid conference format, the on-site event will be held at the Radisson Blu Park Royal Palace Hotel, Vienna, April 21st-23rd, 2021. Several pre-conference workshops will be held on April 20th, 2021. EDUCON 2021 will be focused on "Women in Engineering".

Topics of Interest

Papers in all areas of engineering education are invited with particular emphasis on the main focus of the conference and on current issues in engineering education such as:

• Climate change and engineering education
• Mastering Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence
• The ethical challenge and engineering education

Venue

Radisson Blu Style Hotel is located in the city of Vienna, near the Schönbrunn palace, around 30km from the Vienna Airport. (https://www.radissonhotels.com) Located along the Danube River, Vienna is one of the oldest European centers of culture, and registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Presentation Formats

Proposals for participation in the EDUCON 2020 conference can be submitted in the following formats:

• Papers: Full papers (6-10 pages)
• Papers: Short papers (4-5 pages)
• Papers: Work-in-Progress Papers (4-5 pages)
• Student Poster Papers (up to 2 pages)
• Special Sessions
• Panels and Workshops

All paper and short paper submissions are subject to a double-blind reviewing process.
