Overview

The IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference is the sixth of the series of conferences that rotates among central locations in IEEE Region 8, Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

IEEE EDUCON 2015 will be held on March 18-20, 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Paper topics include but are not limited to:

• Excellence in Engineering Education
• Infrastructure and Technologies for Engineering Education
• Innovative Materials, Teaching and Learning Experiences in Engineering Education
• Learning in Transition and Engineering Education Ecosystems

Conference Proceedings

Conference proceedings with an appropriate ISBN number will be distributed electronically on a USB device and will also be submitted to IEEE Xplore. Selected award papers will be recommended for publication in IEEE Transactions on Education and in the IEEE-RITA Electronic Journal.

Presentation Formats

Proposals for participation in the 2015 EDUCON conference can be submitted in the following formats:

• Papers: Full papers (8-10 pages)
• Papers: Short papers (4-6 pages)
• Papers: Work in Progress papers
• Special sessions
• Panels and Workshops

Review

Proposals are submitted comprising a two-stage review process:

• Abstract Submission: in the first stage a 1-page abstract (2-page for full papers) has to be submitted for review
• Draft Submission: Subject to review results, authors will be invited to submit a preliminary version of their complete paper for peer-review
• Final Submission and Author Registration: Final versions of the accepted papers, as they will appear in the proceedings, have to be submitted
