Overview
The special session “Motivating Students with Mobiles for STEM” (MSM for STEM 2017), in line with the objectives of the MsM’2014 and MsM’2015 Special Sessions about mobile learning and the growing interest of the educational community towards fostering STEM education, aims to continue and promote the discussion about the motivational aspects of mobile learning, with special focus on supporting STEM education.
The session will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present their latest work on evaluating the impact of mobile learning on student motivation and learning, and propose pedagogies, motivational strategies, instructional design methodologies and implementations to support and enhance STEM education through the appropriate uses of mobile technology.
